They make it. They ice it. They take it home.

The classes

Four things worth
getting flour on.

Every class is hands-on from the first minute. Children do the mixing, rolling and decorating themselves — we do the oven.

Cupcakes decorated by children with pastel buttercream and sprinkles

Cupcake Decorating

Bake, then pipe. Buttercream in three colours, sprinkles without limits, and six cupcakes to carry home in a box.

Cookie Studio

Roll, cut and ice. Stars, hearts and whatever else is in the cutter box — decorated with royal icing and a steady-ish hand.

Two small homemade pizzas made by children

Pizza From Scratch

Real dough, kneaded and rested. They stretch it, top it and eat one there — the second goes home for dinner.

Small fruit tarts topped with strawberries, blueberries and kiwi

Fruit Tarts

Proper pastry, proper custard. The fiddliest class we run, and the one they are proudest of at the end.

Step one

Weigh it out.

Everyone gets their own bowl, their own scale, and a recipe card they can actually read.

Step two

Mix it up.

Whisking by hand, because that is the bit they remember. Flour goes everywhere. That's allowed.

Step three

Into the oven.

We handle the hot parts. They watch it rise through the glass and time it themselves.

Step four

Decorate. Take it home.

Piping bags, sprinkles, and a box to carry it all out in. The recipe card goes home too.

For parents

The bit you actually
want to know.

No hunting through an FAQ for the important things. Here they are.

Who's in the room

Carol runs every class herself, with a second adult present. Maximum eight children, so nobody is waiting for a turn.

Allergies

The kitchen is nut-free. Tell us about any allergy when you book and we'll confirm exactly what's in the recipe before the day.

Drop-off or stay

Either is fine. There's seating if you'd rather wait, and we'll message you if anything comes up.

What they take home

Everything they make, boxed. Plus the recipe card, so it can be made again at home that week.

What to bring

Nothing. Aprons, ingredients and hair ties are provided. Long hair tied back, closed shoes please.

If plans change

Free reschedule up to 48 hours before. Inside 48 hours we'll move the place to another date where we can.

Who's teaching

Hello — I'm Carol.

I started this because my own kids learned to bake standing on a stool next to me, and it turned out to be the part of the week they looked forward to most.

Classes are small on purpose. Eight children means everyone gets their hands in the bowl, nobody is waiting, and I can actually watch how each child is getting on.

Questions

Anything else?

Does my child need any experience?+

None at all. Classes are built so a complete beginner can follow, and there's always something extra for a child who's baked before.

Can I stay and watch?+

Yes. There's seating in the room. Many parents drop off and come back — both are completely normal.

What if my child has an allergy?+

The kitchen is nut-free. Tell us when you book and we'll send the full ingredient list for that class before the day, so you can decide.

My child is 6 — or 13. Can they join?+

Classes are designed for 7 to 12. Message us about a 6-year-old — sometimes it works with a parent alongside. For older children we're planning a teen session.

Can we book a private class or a birthday?+

Yes. Private classes run for groups of six to ten. Message us with a date and we'll come back with a quote.

How do I pay?+

Book here and we'll confirm by WhatsApp with a PayNow QR. Your place is held for 24 hours while you pay.

Come and make a mess.

Small classes, real ovens, and something to bring home at the end of it.
